Time difference and when to call
Rome is 6 hours ahead of New York. A good window is 7 AM–3 PM New York time, which is 1 PM–9 PM in Rome.
US Eastern (UTC−5, UTC−4 in summer); Italy is UTC+1 (CET / CEST in summer). Times below use US Eastern; subtract 1 hour for Central, 2 for Mountain, 3 for Pacific.
